Less than 48 hours to the virtual-based iPhone 13 launch event. In almost same manner as the iPhone 12 event, it will be presented from the Steve Job Theatre at the Apple Park campus in Cupertino, California. Depending on the country or region, it will happen on Tuesday, September 14, 10AM PT/1PM ET/5PM GMT/3AM AEST (Wed). It will be streamed live on Apple.com, Apple’s YouTube page and on Apple TV through the Apple TV app.
Apple is expected to launch four models of the iPhone 13 and Apple Watch Series 7. They (iPhone 13 mini – 5.4-inch, iPhone 13 & iPhone 13 Pro – 6.1-inch and iPhone 13 Pro Max – 6.7-inch) are expected to arrived with improved 5G connectivity, smaller display notch, and faster processor (A15 Bionic). Other speculated improvements over the iPhone 12 series include bigger storage space (up to 1TB), upgraded camera technology and longer lasting battery.
There is not much info on the Apple Watch Series 7 except that it is tipped to have a new design, flatter edges and bigger case sizes (41mm and 45mm) when compared to its predecessor – the Watch Series 6. Apple is expected to schedule another fall event to announce new products – a refreshed iPad mini with bigger screen size and MacBook Pro (14-inch and 16-inch) with the long-rumoured M1X processor.
