Whatsapp Web Client lets you receive and send Whatsapp messages on PC

Different leaks were gathering pace pointing to a launch of Web Client of Whatsapp and the company has finally made it official today. Whatsapp Web makes (believe) you are sending and receiving whatsapp messages on your computer.

Whatsapp Web client is infact an extension of your mobile phone because without your phone being connected to the internet it won’t connect on your computer. However all your messages would show on PC and your mobile which means you won’t miss any new Whatsapp message.

The latest version of Whatsapp brings this new functionality; users are advised to update their app to the latest/current version. Once you have the latest Whatsapp version, you should visit https://web.whatsapp.com/ in Google Chrome browser to connect the Whatsapp client. Once you open the page, a QR code comes up, you are required to scan the QR Code from Whatsapp on your phone.

Instruction for all mobile platforms are available on the WhatsApp Web page; it is available on Android, Nokia S60, Windows Phone, Blackberry but not on iPhone or iOS due to the Apple’s platform limitations.

Whatsapp Web is available for Google Chrome browser for now, with the service stating other browsers would be coming soon. Even though other browsers may work, only Chrome is recommended for now.
