Wickedleak has officially announced a new device in the Wammy Titan series and the Wammy Titan 4 successor – the Wickedleak Wammy Titan 5. The device will be available from the company’s website for Rs 14990 ($232) starting today (October 17th) in Dark Gray with Silver, Gold and White with Silver colour options.
Moving to the specs, the Wickedleak Wammy Titan 5 sports a 5.5-inch IPS OGS display with a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels (FHD) with Corning Gorilla Glass protection. It measures 155.2 x 76.6 x 8.0mm in dimensions, has Dual Micro SIM slots and run Android 5.1 Lollipop OS out-of-the-box.
Under the hood, the device is backed by an Octa-core Mediatek MT6753 processor clocked at 1.3GHz with Mali-T720 GPU, 3GB of RAM, 16GB space of internal storage and there is a microSD card slot onboard for storage expansion possibly up to 64GB or more.
For photography, the Wickedleak Wammy Titan 5 has a front facing 5MP camera for selfies and a rear facing 13MP AutoFocus camera with Samsung CMOS sensor and LED flash. The fingerprint sensor is located just below the main camera.
Connectivity options on the device includes – USB OTG, GPS, Bluetooth, Bluetooth, Dual Band Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n and 4G LTE/3G HSPA+. The whole shebang weighs around 203 grams and is backed by a huge 4165mAh battery that is expected to provide up to 3 or 4 days of mixed usage.
Well if the Wickedleak Wammy Titan 5 looks too familiar, it is because it is based on the almost 6 months old Elephone P8000 which has launched in India under the iBerry Auxus brand as the Auxus Prime P8000 also with a Rs 14990 price.
