Wiio has launched the Wiio WI3 budget smartphone in India in partnership with online e-commerce website, Snapdeal. It is powered by a quad-core processor, runs on Android Kitkat OS and has a battery capacity which is a lot more than other smartphones in the same range.
The Wiio WI3 features a 5-inch (960 x 540 pixels) qHD display, powered by a quad-core MediaTek MT6582 processor clocked at 1.3GHz paired with 1GB of RAM and 8GB space of internal storage. For additional storage, there is a microSD card slot for storage expansion up to 32GB.
On the rear, there is a 8-megapixels camera with LED flash and a front facing 2-megapixels camera for selfies and video chats. Connectivity options the device – GPS, Bluetooth 4.0, 3G and 802.11 b/g/n Wi-Fi. It comes with Dual SIM support (Normal + Micro), comes with FM Radio and runs on Android 4.4 Kitkat OS out-of-the-box.
The Wiio W3 measures 145.5 x 72.2 x 9.85mm in dimensions and is backed by a 4000mAh battery which is huge compared to similar smartphones in these range. The device is available exclusively for a price tag of Rs 7499 ($118) in Grey colour option only.
