Wiko Lenny 2 with 5″ screen, Quad-core SoC and Android 5.1 debuts in Nigeria for N15,900

Wiko Mobile has unveiled the Wiko Lenny successor – the Wiko Lenny 2 in the Nigerian markets. The entry-level 5-inch sized device boots Android Lollipop OS and can be purchased from Slot Stores nationwide for a price tag of N15,900 (about $80) in Black, Bleen, Blue, Coral and White colour options.

Moving to the specifications, the Wiko Lenny 2 sports a 5-inch display with a resolution 854 x 480 pixels (FWVGA), powered by a Quad-core Cortex-A7 processor clocked at 1.3GHz with 768MB of RAM and 8GB built-in storage space. For additional storage, there is a microSD card slot for expansion up to 64GB.

In the camera segment, the Lenny 2 has a 2-Megapixels front facing camera for selfies as well as video chats; a rear facing 5-Megapixels camera with LED flash. Connectivity options on the device includes – GPS with AGPS, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, USB OTG, micro USB 2.0, Bluetooth and 3G HSPA+

Measuring 145.4 x 73.2 x 9mm in dimensions and weighing 156 grams in size; the Wiko Lenny 2 has Dual SIM slots (Mini + Micro), runs Android 5.1 Lollipop OS and is backed by 1800mAh Li-Po battery. The battery is expected to provide up to 240 hours of standby time and 13.2 hours of talktime (2G)/11.7 hours of talktime (3G).

For price comparisons sake, the Infinix Hot 2 (1GB RAM) costs N17,900, the Infinix Hot 2 (2GB RAM) costs around N20,000. Others are – Tecno J5 (17,300), Innjoo Halo (N15,000), Samsung J1 Ace (N19,000) and Samsung J1 (N20,000).
