French based OEM, Wiko Mobiles announced three new View smartphones with edge-to-edge displays – the Wiko View 2 Pro, Wiko View 2 and Wiko View Lite. All three smartphones feature rear mounted fingerprint sensors and come pre-loaded with Android 8.1 Oreo OS.
Out of the trio, the Wiko View 2 Pro sits at the top with slightly better specs than the rest and a price tag of EUR 299 while the View Lite is the most affordable with a Mediatek SoC and price tag of EUR 189. The Wiko View 2 is similar to the View 2 Pro ina number of ways but has a lesser price tag of EUR 199.
Wiko View 2 Pro
Bearing some striking semblance with the Essential Phone, the Wiko View 2 Pro sports a 6-inch IPS display with 2.5D curved Corning Gorilla Glass, 19:9 aspect ratio and an unconventional 1528 x 720 pixels resolution. It has thin bezels on the top and sides, and the top front has a notch for the selfie camera.
It packs an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 450 processor, 4GB of RAM, 64GB built-in storage, 16MP dual rear cameras with f/1.75 lens and front facing 16MP camera with f/2.0 lens, super PDAF and Face Unlock. The whole shebang is backed by a 3,000mAh battery and arrives in Anthracite and Gold colours.
Wiko View 2
The Wiko View 2 has the same build, display, front camera and battery capacity as the View 2 Pro. However, the former packs the quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 435 processor paired with 3GB of RAM, 32GB built-in storage and a single 13MP rear camera with f/2.0 lens. It will arrive in Anthracite, Gold and Silver colour options.
Wiko View Lite
The Wiko View Lite differs from the View 2 and View 2 Pro as it is built around a 5.45-inch (1440 x 720 pixels) HD+ display and 2.5D curved glass. It packs a Mediatek MT6739WW processor paired with 2GB of RAM, 16GB built-in storage, front facing 16MP camera with selfie softlight and rear 13MP camera.
The View Lite is supplied by a 3,000mAh battery and arrives in Black, Gold and Red colour options.
