French mobile company, Wiko Mobile released three new mid-tier smartphones, the Wiko View, Wiko View Prime and Wiko View XL with 18:9 ‘Full Screen’ displays at the IFA 2017. The trio all have a 1440 x 720 pixels (HD+) screen resolution, quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 425/430 processor and 4G LTE Cat.4 support.
Wiko View
The Wiko View starts off the series with a 5.7-inch HD+ display, 3GB of RAM, 16GB or 32GB built-in expandable storage (up to 128GB via microSD), 16MP front camera with f/2.0 aperture, 5-element lens and selfie flash, 13MP rear camera (takes up to 52MP in Super Pixel function), and a 2,900mAh battery.
The View measures 151.5 x 73.1 x 8.7 mm, weighs 160 grams and boots Android 7.1 Nougat OS. A rear-mounted fingerprint sensor is also onboard. The 16GB model costs EUR 179.99 – 189.99 while the 32GB models costs EUR 199.99. Both models will go on sale this September in Europe.
Wiko View Prime
Priced starting at EUR 269.99, the Wiko View Prime retains the View’s 5.7-inch HD+ 18:9 display and packs a slightly bigger 3,000mAh battery. It feaures a dual-front camera setup: 20 + 8MP with 120-degree wide angle sensor for group selfies. The main camera is a 16MP sensor with LED flash and Super Pixel function.
The Prime relies on an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 processor paired with 4GB of RAM and 64GB built-in storage space (expandable up to 128GB via microSD). It boots Android 7.0 Nougat OS, measures 152.3 x 72.8 x 8.3 mm, weighs 162 grams and will go on sale in Europe by October.
Wiko View XL
The Wiko View XL is simply a bigger screen variant of the Wiko View. It has all the features and specs of the View has except a bigger 5.99-inch HD+ 18:9 display and 3,000mAh battery. It measures 158.1 x 76.5 x 8.2 mm, weighs 171 grams and will go on sale in October for a price tag of EUR 229.99.
