British smartphone brand, Wileyfox, has announced three new affordable smartphones in the Spark range running Cyanogen OS 13, based on Android 6.0 Marshmallow. All three – the Wileyfox Spark, Spark+ and Spark X, are priced at £90/€120, £115/€150 and £130/€170 respectively.
The Wileyfox Spark is the most basic of the trio, with a 5-inch (1280 x 720 pixels) LCD display, Dual SIM slots, 1.3GHZ quad-core MediaTek MT6735 processor, 1 GB of RAM and 8GB built-in expandable storage space. It packs front and rear facing 8MP cameras, 4G LTE connectivity and a 2200mAH battery.
The Wilefox Spark+ keeps some of the specs of the Wileyfox Spark including the display size, battery capacity and front camera but the RAM and Storage has doubled to 2GB and 16GB respectively, and the main camera has been upped to 13MP.
The superior of the range is the Wileyfox Spark X, with a bigger 5.5-inch display with the same 720p HD screen resolution and a 3000mAh battery. The rest of the specs is same as the Spark+.
The Wileyfox Spark is available for pre-order from the company and amazon; and shipping begins on July 12th while the Spark+ will follow in July, and the Spark X in August. Colour options available are Sandstone Black or White.
