British-based manufacturer, Wileyfox has announced two new smartphones – Wileyfox Swift and Wileyfox Storm which would run Cyanogen OS and would be available in Sandstone Black colour finish just like that used on OnePlus smartphones.
Wileyfox Swift
Starting off with the WileyFox Swift which is more or less a lower midrange phone or entry-level if you may like; it sports a 5-inch IPS display with a resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels, a pixel density of 294ppi and Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection.
Under the hood, it is powered by a 64bit quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 MSM8916 processor clocked at 1.2GHz paired with 2GB of RAM and 16GB space of internal storage. It runs Cyanogen OS 12.1 and there is a microSD card slot for storage expansion up to 32GB.
The main camera is 13MP Sony camera with Dual Flash and a 5MP front camera for selfies. Measuring 141.15 x 71 x 9.37mm in dimensions, the Wileyfox Swift weighs 135 grams, supports Dual Micro SIM slots, 4G LTE connectivity and is backed by a removable 2500mAh battery. It is priced at £129 ($200).
Wileyfox Storm
The Wileyfox Storm is an upper midranger with 3GB of RAM, 32GB space of internal storage, a microSD card slot for storage expansion up to 128GB and a 64-bit Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 MSM8939 processor clocked at 1.5GHz and runs Cyanogen OS 12.1.
It sports a 5.5-inch (1920 x 1080 pixels) Full HD IPS Fully Laminated display with a pixel density of 400ppi, a main 20MP Sony EXMOR IMX220 BSI Stacked CMOS Camera and an 8MP front facing Camera with Flash for selfies.
Measuring 155.6 x 77.3 x 9.2mm in dimensions, the Wileyfox Storm weighs 155 grams, supports 4G LTE connectivity, Dual SIM slots and is backed by a non-removable 2500mAh battery. It is priced at £199 ($315).
