Xiaomi has introduced the 20000mAh Mi Power Bank to join the 5000mAh, 10000mAh, 10400mAh and the 16000mAh ones. It will make its debut at the company’s “Double 11″ sales which will go down in China starting November 11th for a price tag CNY 149 ($24 / NGN 4668).
The 20000mAh Mi Power Bank comes with a different design language and comes with an ABS plastic body compared to aluminium on the previous models, to make the body scratch resistant and a better grip when holding.
Despite the increase in battery capacity, it weighs less (338 grams) than two 10000mAh Mi Power Banks (414 grams) and the 16000mAh Mi Power Bank (350 grams).The power bank has two standard USB output ports for charging two device simultaneously, LED indicator which shows the battery level and the power button can be found on the side.
The 20000mAh Mi Power Bank fast charging features and DC (5V/2A 9V/2A 12V/1.5A) which has been tested to go up to 11000mAh in just three straight hours of charge and has the capacity to charge the new Macbook using the USB Type-C converter.
Measuring about 318mm in length and like the other MI Power Banks, it is designed by Texas Instruments and comes with nine layers of circuit protection which not only protect the batteries but also ensure it is efficient in charging and discharging.
Extra: Xiaomi has also introduced a new Mi Power Strip with 5 power sockets but the USB ports seems to be absent compared to the 3 Power Socket Mi Power Strip which also has 3 USB Port. This model is similar in size to a pencil case and costs CNY 39 ($6 / NGN 1222).
