Xiaomi Mi 10i with 108MP Camera Debuts In India

Following the launch of the Xiaomi Mi 11 in China, the company has announced the launch of the Xiaomi Mi 10i in India. The device is highlighted to be produced locally as part of the company’s ‘Made In India’ initiative and a rebrand of the Redmi Note 9 Pro 5G smartphone for India.

Backed by a 4,820mAh battery with 33W fast charging, the Xiaomi Mi 10i has a 6.67-inch FHD+ display with an adaptive 120Hz refresh rate, 16MP selfie camera in the front notch and Corning Gorilla Glass 5 on the front and rear. The display also has 1500:1 static contrast ratio, 84% NTSC contrast ratio, TÜV Rheinland Low Blue Light certification, and Widevine L1 Certification for HDR10+ compatibility.

Internally, it is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 750G mobile platform for 5G connectivity and paired with either 6GB or 8GB of LPDDR4 RAM and either 64GB or 128GB built-in storage (UFS 2.2). The quad rear camera setup includes a primary 108MP (f/1.75, 7-element lens) Samsung HM2 sensor paired with 8MP (f/2.2, 120O FOV) wide-angle, 2MP macro and 2MP depth sensors.

The rest of the specs includes a side-placed fingerprint sensor, 3.5mm audio jack with dual stereo speakers, and IR Blaster. It is available in Atlantic Blue, Midnight Black and Pacific Sunrise colour options and pricing start at INR 20,999 for the 6GB RAM + 64GB storage. The bigger 6GB RAM + 128GB storage model costs INR 21,999 while the highest model (8GB RAM + 128GB storage) for INR 23,999.
