Xiaomi has expanded the Mi 11 series with three new additions – the Xiaomi Mi Ultra, Xiaomi Mi 11 Lite (4G/5G) and the Xiaomi Mi 11i. They all come with differing versions of MIUI and are equipped with respective Qualcomm processors for 5G (NA/SA) connectivity with the exception of the Mi Lite 4G which does not have this feature.
Xiaomi Mi 11 Ultra
The Mi 11 Ultra is the top of the bunch, with a full ceramic body build, Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 mobile platform and a pro-grade triple camera system which is headed by a 50MP (f/1.95, 8P lens, OIS, PDAF, LAF) wide angle camera with Samsung GN2 sensor. The main camera is paired with a 48MP (f/2.2, 7P lens, 128o FOV, PDAF) ultra-wide-angle camera with Sony IMX586 sensor and another 48MP (f/2.0) telephoto camera with the same sensor for 5x optical zoom, 10x hybrid zoom, and up to 120x digital zoom. The trio can shoot 8K videos @24fps.
The IP68-rated smartphone is built around a 6.81-inch WQHD+ Samsung AMOLED quad-curved display with 1,700 nits peak brightness, HDR10+ support, Dolby Vision, 120Hz refresh rate, 480Hz touch sampling rate and Corning Gorilla Glass Victus protection. It has a secondary 1.1-inch AMOLED display which acts as an always-on display and can be used as selfie mirror when taking photos with the 20MP selfie camera.
It comes pre-loaded with MIUI 12 (Android 11) and depends on a 5,000mAh battery with 67W wired turbo charging and 67W wireless turbo charging. The rest of the specs include dual-speakers tuned by Harman/Kardonn, in-screen fingerprint sensor, Wi-Fi 6/6E, NFC and USB-C port. In Europe, pricing starts at EUR 1,1999 for the 12GB + 256GB variant while pricing starts at CNY 5,999 for the 8GB + 256GB and up to CNY 6,999 for the 12GB + 512GB models.
Xiaomi Mi Lite (4G/5G)
The 4G and 5G Mi Lite models are the same device, however, the former is based on the Qualcomm Snapdragon 732G 8nm mobile platform with liquid cooling system to handle heat dissipation while the latter is based on the Qualcomm Snapdragon 780G 5nm mobile platform with the same liquid cooling technology. They both have the same 6.55-inch FHD+ AMOLED display with 90Hz refresh rate, 240Hz touch sampling rate, HDR10 (4G)/HDR10+ (5G) support and Dolby Vision certification.
They both have a triple rear camera system with 64MP main, 8MP ultra-wide and 5MP telemacro sensors. The 4G model has a 16MP selfie camera and Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection while the latter has a 20MP selfie camera and Corning Gorilla Glass 6 protection. The rest of the specs include Bluetooth 5.1 (4G)/Bluetooth 5.2 (5G), Wi-Fi 5 (4G)/Wi-Fi 6 (5G), IR Blaster, NFC, USB-C, and side-placed fingerprint sensor. Power is supplied by a 4,250mAh battery with 33W fast charging support.

Xiaomi Mi 11i
Modelled after the Redmi K40 Pro+, the Xiaomi Mi 11i is also powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 mobile platform. It is built around a 6.67-inch E4 AMOLED display with HDR10+ support, 120Hz refresh display, 360Hz touch sampling rate and Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection. Photography is handled by a triple camera system comprising of a 108MP (f/1.75, 7P lens, 0.7μm) main camera paired with 8MP (f/2.2, 119o FOV) ultra-wide-angle and 5MP (f/2.4, AF (3cm-7cm)) telemacro camera.
The rest of the specs include dual SIM/dual 5G standby, Wi-Fi 6, Dual speakers with Dolby Atmos, side-mounted fingerprint scanner, IR Blaster, NFC, 20MP selfie camera in the punch-hole notch and 4,520mAh battery with 33W fast charging. Pricing starts at EUR 649 for the 8GB + 128GB model and EUR 699 for the 8GB + 256GB model. Celestial Silver, Cosmic Black, and Frosty White are the available colours.
