Xiaomi has sent out invites for the launch of the Mi Max 3 smartphone on July 19 in China . The successor to last year’s Mi Max 2, will sport a large screen size and battery, and has been certified by TENAA with the model numbers – M1804E4A, M1804E4T and M1804E4C.
According to the TENAA listing, the Xiaomi Mi Max 3 will have a 6.99-inch FHD+ IPS 18:9 display, full metal body, up to 6GB of RAM, a rear fingerprint sensor, USB Type-C port and a 5,400mAh battery with support for Qualcomm Quick Charge 3.0 using a bundled 18W charger.
The smartphone comes powered by an octa-core Qualcomm processor clocked at 1.8GHz (most likely the Snapdragon 636) and is available three memory and storage configurations: 3GB RAM with 32GB storage, 4GB RAM with 64GB storage and 6GB RAM with 128GB storage.
In the camera segment, the smartphone has a rear 12MP camera with Sony IMX363 sensor, 1.4µm pixel size and dual-tone LED flash, and the front camera is a 8MP snapper. The cameras will have the usual AI-assisted functions. It comes pre-loaded with MIUI 9 based Android 8.1 Oreo OS (upgradable to MIUI 10).
The Xiaomi Mi Max 3 is expected to arrive in Black, Gold, Gray and Rose Gold colours.
