Xiaomi has announced the launch date of the soon-coming Xiaomi Mi Max Phablet with 6.4-inch display size. The device which would be announced at a scheduled event in the Beijing National Convention Centre on the 10th of May, has also been spotted on GFXBench benchmark listing along with most of its key specs details.
Running Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow OS with the company’s MIUI skin expected ontop, the Xiaomi Mi Max Phablet sports a 6.4-inch IPS display with 1920 x 1080 pixels (Full HD) screen resolution and powered by a 64-bit hexa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 650 processor clocked at 1.8GHz.
The benchmark lists 2GB /16GB RAM and built-in storage space combination but another variant with 3GB/32GB combination which would be priced a bit higher is tipped. In the camera segment, there is a front facing 5MP camera and a rear facing 16MP camera with Dual Tone LED flash.
Talking about the design, the Xiaomi Mi Max phablet shares similar design with the Xiaomi Mi 5 except having a bigger screen size of course and the home button should integrate the fingerprint scanner. The rear camera setup also looks identical to that of the aforementioned Mi 5. We looking forward to the launch date to know the full details.
