Xiaomi has unveiled the Mi Note 10 Lite (lite version of the Mi Note 10) alongside new smartphone offerings under the Redmi sub-brand – the Redmi Note 9 and Redmi Note 9 Pro (aka the Redmi Note 9 Pro Max in India) and the Mi Smart Standing Fan 1C. The smartphones come pre-loaded with Xiaomi’s in-house MIUI 11 (based on Android 10), offer up to 8GB LPPDDR4x RAM, up to 128GB built-in storage, IR sensor, NFC support and USB Type-C port.

Xiaomi Mi Note 10 Lite
The new Xiaomi Mi Note 10 Lite sports a 6.47-inch FHD+ Curved AMOLED display with 3D Glass back and Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection, In-display fingerprint sensor, 3.5mm audio jack with Hi-Res audio support and depends on a 5,260mAh battery with 30W fast charging. Photography is handled by a quad camera setup with 64MP (f/1.89) main, 8MP (f/2.2) ultra-wide, 5MP (f/2.4) depth and 2MP (f/2.4) macro sensors. The front facing 16MP (f/2.48) selfie camera resides in the waterdrop notch.
The Mi Note 10 Lite is based on the Qualcomm Snapdragon 730G Mobile Platform and arrives in three colour choices: Glacier white, Midnight Black and Nebula Purple. Starting mid-May, the standard version (6GB RAM + 64GB storage) will go on sale for EUR 349 while the 6GB RAM + 128GB storage version costs EUR 399.
Redmi Note 9 Series
The Redmi Note 9 Pro is a slightly modified version of the Redmi Note 9 Pro Max released in India. The main camera setup is closely similar that on the Mi Note 10 Lite and includes features such as kaleidoscope, pro video mode and slow-motion selfie. It packs a 6.67-inch FHD+ IPS LCD screen with Corning Gorilla Glass 5 Protection, side-placed fingerprint scanner, Snapdragon 720G mobile platform, 16MP (f/2.48) selfie camera in the punch-hole notch and 5,020mAh battery with 30W fast charging.
The Redmi Note 9 is the first smartphone to be powered by the MediaTek Helio G85 8nm processor. It sports a tad smaller 6.53-inch FHD+ LCD display with Corning Gorilla Glass 5 Protection, 13MP (f/2.25) selfie camera in the punch-hole notch, rear fingerprint sensor and a 5,020mAh battery with 18W fast charging. Photography is handled by a quad-camera setup with a 48MP (f/1.79) main camera paired with 8MP (f/2.2, 118° FOV) ultra-wide-angle sensor, 2MP (f/2.4) depth sensor and 2MP macro lens.
In terms of pricing, the Redmi Note 9 Pro costs USD 269 for the 6GB RAM + 64GB storage version and USD 299 for the 6GB RAM + 128GB storage version. The Redmi Note 9 is priced lower at USD 199 for the 3GB RAM + 64GB storage version and USD 249 for the 4GB RAM + 128GB storage version. The Pro comes in Glacier White, Interstellar Grey and Tropical Green colours while the basic model comes in Forest Green, Midnight Grey and Polar White options.
