During its anniversary launch event in China which saw the launch of the Xiaomi Mi 10 Ultra and Redmi K30 Ultra, the company officially unveiled the world’s first mass-produced transparent TV – the Xiaomi Mi TV LUX OLED Transparent Edition. It has an edge-to-edge transparent self-luminous OLED panel – which makes its fully visible during usage but a totally transparent glass display when switched off.
The Xiaomi Mi TV LUX OLED Transparent Edition has a 55-inch 6.7mm ultra-thin transparent OLED display panel with 150000:1 static contrast ratio and infinite dynamic contrast ratio, 93% DCI-P3 colour spectrum support and both acclaimed 120Hz refresh rate and 120Hz MEMC technology results in a fast 1ms pixel response speed time that provides faster transition in pixel colours. It also has support for Always-On display.
The 5.7mm ultra-thin tv’s processors and connectors are in the circular base stand including the processor which is a MediaTek 9650 custom-made TV chip. It is also equipped with Xiaomi’s AI Master Smart Engine, AI Master and Dolby Atmos support for audio performance, and custom-made MIUI interface made for a unique experience on the TV. It is available for CNY 49,999 (USD 7,225) and is available on sale in China.
