Along with the Mi A2 and Mi A2 Lite Android One smartphones, Xiaomi also announced the Mi Ultrasonic Toothbrush and Robot Builder at its Global Launch Event in Spain this week. The duo are priced at EUR 29.99 (USD 35) and EUR 79.99 (USB 94) respectively.
Xiaomi Mi Ultrasonic Toothbrush
The Xiaomi Mi Ultrasonic Toothbrush has a waterproof body (IPX7), high-quality DuPont StaClean bristles and uses Ultrasonic technology to generate up to 31,000 vibrations per minute for powerful cleaning. Users can personalise their preferred brushing mode easily using the smartphone app.
The toothbrush is backed by a 700mAh battery, which is expected to deliver a battery life of 18 days even when used to brush twice daily (4 minutes per day). It comes with a small charging dock, that can also be charged using a power bank.
Xiaomi Robot Builder
The Xiaomi Robot Builder is a modular type robot which comes in 1,086 eco-friendly block parts. It can be assembled to form different structures using the aforementioned blocks along with other parts like wheels, hears and chains to make it come to life.
The robot is powered by a 32-bit ARM Cortex Mx processor, 32MB internal storage, built-in gyroscope and runs a proprietary OS, which allows it perform various coordinated actions. It also has a built-in photoelectric encoder, four USB Type-C ports and lasts up to 12 hours of battery life.
The Mi Robot Builder connects to its app (available on Android and iOS) to control the robot.
