The Apple of China, Xiaomi got its nick from making smartphone which are modelled after Apple’s smartphones but their device are efficient whether it is its low-range, mid-range and even its flagship Mi Series of smartphone. The company hasn’t announced a successor to the device but it now has the Xiaomi Mi Note and the Mi Note Pro as it’s current flagship.
The Xiaomi Mi4 is powered by the then flagship quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 processor alongside 3GB of RAM, MIUI 6.0, 3080mAh battery, 8MP front camera and 13MP rear camera. The device costs 1999 Yuan (US$325).
Xiaomi is expected a 2GB version of the Xiaomi Mi4 smartphone – the Xiaomi E4. The device has been certified on TENAA in China and we have managed to cop some of the device’s purpoted specs. The E4 is listed as having just 2GB of RAM and 16GB internal storage compared to the 3GB and 16GB/64GB internal storage on the Mi4.
Asides that, the device keeps most of its specs and would come in three different versions made for three carriers in China – China Unicom, China Mobile and China Telecom. All three models support 4G LTE and is expected to be priced around 1799 Yuan ($289).
The Xiaomi E4 is likely to be announced alongside the Xiaomi Mi Note Plus which has surfaced via AnTuTu in coming weeks.
