Xiaomi Redmi Note 3 Pro with Snapdragon 650 and 16MP PDAF Camera

Xiaomi has announced a Pro variant of the Redmi Note 3. Rightfully named the Xiaomi Redmi Note 3 Pro, the device will arrive in two RAM and Storage models – 2GB/16GB and 3GB/32GB; in three colour options – Champagne Gold, Dark Grey and Silver. The 2GB RAM variant will sell for CNY 999 ($151) starting January 17th.  ‎

The Xiaomi Redmi Note 3 Pro relies on a 64-bit Qualcomm Snapdragon 650 hexa-core processor, which is the main difference between it and the standard Redmi Note which uses the octa-core Mediatek Helio X10 MT6795M processor. The rest of the specs except the main camera is basically the same.

The device sports a 5.5-inch 1080p Full HD IPS display, boots MIUI 7 based on Android 5.0.2 Lollipop OS and backed by a 4000mAh (4050mAh) battery with fast charging. It supports 2G, 3G and 4G+ Networks as well as Dual Band Wi-Fi 802.11ac, VoLTE, GPS + GLONASS and Bluetooth 4.1 connectivity.

The Xiaomi Redmi Note 3 Pro is equipped with a front facing 5MP camera with f/2.0 aperture and a rear facing 16MP camera with f/2.0 aperture, LED flash, Dual Tone LED flash and Phase Detection AutoFocus camera (0.1 second quick focus). It has Dual SIM slots, measures 150 x 76 x 8.65mm in dimensions and weighs 164 grams in size.
