Xiaomi has announced the Redmi Note 4G, an improved LTE version of the Redmi Note released earlier this year.
The Xiaomi Redmi Note 4G features a 5.5-inch 720p HD IPS display, 2GB of RAM and 8GB of internal storage which can be expandable up to 64GB via microSD card slot. There is a 13MP rear camera with f/2.2 aperture & LED flash as well as a front facing 5MP camera for selfies.
Under the hood of the device is a a Quad-Core 1.6GHz Qualcomm MSM8928 Snapdragon 400 processor thus supporting 4G LTE radios as against the octa-core 1.7GHz processor from MediaTek. The Redmi Note 4G only supports single Sim, but the original variant supports Dual-SIM slots. The dimensions of the device remains pretty much the same with its 154 x 78.7 x 9.5mm, runs on Android 4.4.2 Kitkat OS with MIUI v5.0 ontop and a 3200mAh battery.
The Xiaomi Redmi Note 4G is available in Cyan, Black, Blue, White, Pink and Dark Green colour variants whilst is also set to carry the same price tag with the Redmi Note at about $162 (CNY 999). The device is expected to launch in China as well as Malaysia in coming days.
