Last week, Xiaomi announced its latest selfie-focused Redmi series smartphone – the Xiaomi Redmi S2. It has a 5.99-inch (1440 x 720 pixels) HD+ 2.5D curved glass display with 18:9 aspect ratio, triple card slots (dual nano SIM slot + microSD slot) and boots Android 8.1 Oreo OS with MIUI 9 on top.
The Xiaomi Redmi S2 packs the Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 octa-core mobile platform paired with either 3GB of RAM with 32GB storage or 4GB of RAM with 64GB storage. For photography, the smartphone is equipped with 12MP + 5MP dual rear cameras and a 16MP selfie camera with soft LED flash, AI beauty features and Face Unlock.
