Alongside the new Mi 8 series smartphones, Xiaomi also unveiled three new Mi products – the Xiaomi Mi Band 3, Mi VR Standalone and the 75-inch Mi TV 4. All three will go on sale starting June 2018.
Xiaomi Mi Band 3
The Mi Band 3 is the latest wearable from Xiaomi. It features a rounded 0.78-inch (128 x 80 pixels) OLED screen, physical buttons, a 110mAh battery for up to 20 days of battery life and water resistance up to 50 metres (5ATM rated).
The Xiaomi Mi Band 3 will go on sale from June 3 in China and will arrive in Deep Blue, Graphite Black and Hot orange colours. The basic version costs CNY 169 (USD 26) while the NFC-enabled version for contact-less payments costs a bit higher at CNY 199 (USD 31).
Xiaomi Mi VR Standalone
Xiaomi teamed up with Facebook-owned VR Company, Oculus to launch Mi VR Standalone headset. It packs the Qualcomm Snapdragon 821 processor, 2K fast switch screen, over 1000 customised Oculus games, intuitive controller and 2,600mAh battery.
Xiaomi Mi TV 4 (75-Inch)
The Xiaomi Mi TV 4 75” is company’s largest LED TV ever. The 4K HDR TV has a 11.4mm thin metal body with aluminium alloy frame and comes pre-loaded with Android-based MIUI TV with PatchWall UI and Xiao Ai voice assistant.
It also has 2 x 8W speakers for Dolby and DTS-HD audio, and a multi purpose Mi Remote Control, which uses both Infrared and Bluetooth to work with other home appliances. The Mi TV 4 75-inch will go on sale in China starting June 6 for a price tag of CNY 8,999 (USD 1403).
