Indian mobile device brand, XOLO has announced a new big battery-capacity smartphone – the XOLO Era 4K. It is available exclusively from Gadgets 360 for a price tag of Rs. 6499 (USD 95) in Dark Blue and White colour options.
Measuring 143 x 71.8 x 9.2 mm in dimensions and weighing 157 grams in size; the XOLO Era 4K has a metal body frame and sports a 5-inch (1280 x 720 pixels) HD IPS LCD display with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection, Native Damage Resistant (NDR) and a pixel density of 294ppi.
The key attraction to the device is the 4000mAh battery under the hood which should deliver up to 17 hours of talk time and 528 hours of standby time on 3G connectivity. It relies on a 64-bit quad-core processor clocked at 1.0GHz with 2GB RAM, 8GB built-in storage space and runs Android 5.1 Lollipop OS.
For additional storage space, there is a microSD card slot for storage expansion up to 32GB. In the camera aspect, there is a front facing 5-megapixel camera with f/2.2 aperture for selfies and video chats; and a rear facing 8-megapixel camera with 5P Largan lens and Dual LED flash .
Connectivity option on the Dual SIM enabled XOLO Era 4K includes – 4G LTE/3G HSPA+, GPS, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, and Micro-USB.
The Xolo Era 4K is a 4G enabled Dual SIM device. The display is a 5-inch IPS panel with full lamination, and a resolution of 1,280 x 720. There’s Corning’s Gorilla Glass 3 layered over to protect the display. Under the hood, the processor is a 64-bit processor clocked at 1GHz, and memory capabilities include 2GB of RAM and 8GB of ROM which can be further expanded to 32GB using Micro SD cards.
