The Xolo Era X is the latest budget 4G smartphone from Xolo Mobiles in the Era series. The device which follows the Xolo Era 4K is available exclusively from Amazon India (Amazon.in) for a price tag of Rs. 5777 (US$ 84) in Black colour option only.
Moving to the specs, the Xolo Era X features budget a 5-inch (1280 x 720 pixels) HD IPS display with Gorilla Glass protection and is powered by a quad-core Spreadtrum SC9830A processor clocked at 1.5GHz with Mali-400 MP2 GPU, 2GB of RAM, 8GB built-in storage space and a microSD card slot for storage expansion (up to 32GB built-in storage space).
In the camera aspect, the Era X has a front facing 5-megapixel camera with LED flash for clearer selfies and a rear facing 8-megapixel AutoFocus camera with LED flash. Connectivity options on the device includes – 4G LTE / 3G, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, micro USB and GPS.
The Xolo Era X has Dual SIM slots, measures 145.5 x 72 x 8.45mm in dimensions, weighs in at 142 grams and is backed by a moderate 2500mAh battery. It also has FM Radio, K-class amplifier, Box Speakers and runs Android 5.1 Lollipop OS which is upgradable to Android 6.0 Marshallow OS but no specific time-frame is mentioned.
