Xolo LT2000 smartphone with 4G LTE and Snapdragon 410 SoC announced for $160

The Xolo LT2000 is the latest smartphone from Xolo and curiously it comes with 4G LTE support. The device is available in India for Rs 9999 (around $160) and would be available via Flipkart, Amazon India and Snapdeal in Black colour option only.

The Xolo LT2000 supports both Dual SIM functionality (4G + 2G) and comes with 4G LTE support which is compatible with both LTE- TDD 2300 MHz and LTE- FDD 1800 MHz bands in India. The device runs Android 4.4 Kitkat OS out of the box but is expected to be upgradeable to Android 5.0 Lollipop OS.

The device’s packs a phablet sized 5.5-inch (1280 x 720 pixels) HD display with Dragontrail Glass protection; powered by a 1.2Ghz Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 processor with Adreno 306 GPU, 1GB of RAM, 8GB space of internal storage and a microSD card slot is on-board for expansion(up to either 32GB or 64GB).

The main camera employed is a 8MP AutoFocus camera with BSI sensor, LED flash and a front 2MP camera for selfies and video chat. Connectivity options on the device asides the 4G LTE support includes – Bluetooth 4.0, 3G, 802.11 b/g/n Wi-Fi and GPS. It measures 74.8 x 115 x 7.8 mm in dimensions, Weighs 140.5 grams, and is backed by a 2920mAh battery.

The Xolo LT2000 is no short of competition in the Indian market as it would compete with the Lenovo A6000, Xiaomi Redmi 2, Xiaomi Redmi Note 4G and an impending release of the Meizu M1 Note soon in the country soon.
