Xolo has announced the Omega 5.0 and Omega 5.5 Android smartphones with the company’s new Hive UI. Both devices support Dual SIM functionality, packs an Octa-Core MediaTek MT6592M processor with Mali 450 GPU and runs on Android 4.4 (KitKat) based on Xolo HIVE UI.
Xolo Omega 5.0
The Xolo Omega 5.0 features a 5.0-inch (1280 x 720 pixels) HD IPS display, powered by a 1.4 GHz octa-core MediaTek MT6592M processor with Mali 450 GPU, 1GB of RAM, 8GB internal storage, a microSD card slot, front facing 2MP camera, rear facing 8MP Sony EXMOR R Sensor with LED flash and a 2100mAh battery.
Xolo Omega 5.5
The Xolo Omega 5.5 also pack slightly similar hardware to the Omega 5.0; it features a 5.5-inch (1280 x 720 pixels)HD IPS display, front facing 2MP camera, rear facing 13MP Sony EXMOR RS camera with LED flash, Dual SIM , 3G HSPA+ and a 2600mAh battery.
The Xolo Omega 5.0 is available in Black colour option only for a Rs 8999 price tag starting on December 10 while the Omega 5.5 is available for a price tag of Rs 9999 starting on December 20. Those who purchase the Omega 5.0 would be treated to 500MB of free data for Vodafone users and would get two months of unlimited music content from Vodacom Music. Those who purchase the Omega 5.5 would get 1GB of free data plus same month of unlimited music content from Vodafone Music; both offers are available for 3 months after launch date.
