Normally, the Xolo One deserves the budget Android Kitkat smartphone treat but unlike other budget kitkat devices, the Xolo One is upgradeable to Android 5.0 Lollipop as the listing suggests. Though No pricing nor availability details concerning the device has been announced; but sources say it would cost Rs 6,599 and come in Red, White, Black and Brown colour options.
The smartphone packs a 4.5-inch FWVGA (480×854 pixels) IPS display resulting a pixel density of 218ppi. The smartphone is powered by a 1.3GHz quad-core MediaTek (MT6582M) processor with Mali 400 MP2 GPU and 1GB of RAM. It also comes with 8GB of inbuilt storage which is expandable up to 32GB via microSD card.
On the rear is a 5MP fixed-focus rear camera with LED flash and a 0.3MP front-facing camera is also on-board. Connectivity options on the Xolo One includes GPS/A-GPS, Wi-Fi, Micro-USB, Bluetooth 4.0, GPRS/ EDGE, 3G and has accelerometer, ambient light sensor, and proximity sensor as sensor options.
The Xolo One measures 128 x 64.3 x 9.3 mm, supports Dual-SIM with Dual Standby functionality and runs on Android 4.4.2 Kitkat OS out-of-the-box. The device is powered by a 1700mAh battery; touted to deliver about 8 hours of talktime and up to 377 hours of standby time on 3G network.
