XOLO has officially launched an addition to its line of Q-series smartphone, although the Q1200 was announced alongside the XOLO Q600s.
The announcement was made via an official Facebook post which reads, “Introducing Xolo Q1200, a smartphone packed with a bundle of smart features to make life simpler. Pick yours now!”.
The XOLO Q1200 measures 144.8 x 71.4 x 6.85 mm and runs on Android 4.2 Jelly Bean with an upgrade to Android 4.4 kitkat promised before the end of the year. Some software features on the device includes Gesture controls, Cold access apps, float task with dual window feature, voice recognition.
The XOLO Q1200 features a 5-Inch (1280 x 720 pixels) HD display with a pixel density of 294ppi, also sports Corning Glass 3 protection. The device is powered by 1.3GHz quad-core MediaTek (MT6582) processor with Mali 400 MP2 GPU, 1GB of RAM, and inbuilt storage is set at 8GB expandable up to 32GB via micro SD card support.
On the rear is a 8MP camera with Sony Exmor R sensor, Dual LED flash and a 2MP front facing camera. The rear camera features options like Panorama, Geo Tagging, Scene Detection, HDR Face recognition and more. Connectivity options includes GSM, 3G with HSPA, Bluetooth 4.0 and Wi-Fi.
The XOLO Q1200 is powered by a 2000mAh battery which provides 15 hours of talk time and up to 418 hours of standby time.

The XOLO Q1200 is already available for Pre-order and on e-commerce websites & stores in India starting June 10. The Q1200 would also be available in White and Black colour variants at a starting price of Rs. 13,999 (approximately 39,000 in Naira).
