XOLO is churning out new devices week in week out, after announcing its first Windows Phone OS powered phone with the Win Q900s weeks ago, the Indian company has announced the Gaming-Centric Smartphone with the XOLO Play 6X-1000 and the XOLO Q500S IPS.

The Dual-SIM XOLO Q500S IPS features a 4-inch WVGA (480×800 pixels) IPS display offering 233ppi pixel density, powered by a 1.3GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6582M processor with Mali 400-MP2 GPU, 512MB of RAM, 4GB of inbuilt storage (expandable up to 32GB via micro SD card slot. The device also sports a 5MP rear camera with LED flash and there is a front facing VGA camera onboard.

Connectivity options on the XOLO Q500s IPS includes – 2G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, micro-USB, GPS/A-GPS. The device runs on a 1500mAh batter which provides around 16.1hours of talktime on 2G networks and 7.6hours of talktime on 3G Networks.

The XOLO Q500s IPS measures 125 x 63.2 x 8.98mm and runs on Android 4.4 Kitkat OS out-of-the-box. The device is also expected to cost Rs.5,999 (around N17,000 in Naira) and available in Red, Black, White, Blue and Green colour variants.
