XOLO Win Q900s – XOLO launches its First Windows Phone 8.1 device

Joining other Indian OEMS like Micromax, Lava and Karbonn, Xolo has also joined the Windows Phone OS platform by announcing the XOLO Win Q900s. The first Windows Phone from Xolo is touted to be the lightest Windows Phone yet but its isn’t as the Allview Impera I which also share the same OS is only 98.9g.

The Dual-SIM compatible XOLO Win Q900s features a 4.7-inch 720p IPS OGS display resulting in 312ppi pixel density, powered by a 1.2GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 200 processor built on the ARM Cortex A7 architecture, Adreno 302 GPU, 1GB of RAM, 8GB of expandable internal storage. On the rear is a 8MP camera with PureCel (TM) sensor and a front facing 2MP sensor, both cameras are LED enabled.

Connectivity options on the XOLO Win Q900s includes 3G, Dual-SIM slots, micro-USB, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth. There is also a 1800mAh battery to power the device. The battery is expected to last up to 23hours of talk time and 263hours on standby mode.

The XOLO Win Q900s is expected to the rival the already announced Micromax Win W092 and Win W121.

In a collaboration with Snapdeal the Xolo Win Q900s is offered at a price of Rs 9,999 (about N27,000 Naira) on pre-order and apparently more than 5000 units of the device has been sold. The device is expected to be available by Mid-July for a price of Rs 11,999 (about N33,000 Naira).
