China-Based, XTouch has listed a new decent mid-range smartphone up on their official website. Dubbed the XTouch Unix, the 5-inch sized device runs Android 5.1 Lollipop OS and is backed by a sizeable 3200mAh battery with fast charging, up to two days of battery life depending on usage.
Housed in a full metal body build made of finely CNC crafted aluminium alloy with 2.5D curved edges; the XTouch Unix sports a 5-inch (1280 x 720 pixels) HD IPS display, a pixel density of 294ppi and DragonTrail glass protection. The display is said to have a screen to body ratio of 70.6%.
Under the hood, Unix relies on a octa-core MediaTek MT6753 processor clocked at 1.3GHz and 450MHz Mali-T720 MP3 GPU along with 2GB of RAM, 16GB built-in storage space. It makes use of a Hybrid Dual SIM slot with the other SIM slot acting as a microSD card slot for storgge expansion up to 128GB.
The XTouch Unix packs a front facing 13MP AutoFocus camera with 85-degrees wide angle lens and a rear facing 13MP Samsung CMOS camera with 5-element lens, f/2.2 aperture and LED flash. The device supports 2G, 3G and 4G LTE networks as well as other standard connectivity options.
