Detailed Comparison: Yu Yunique vs Phicomm Energy 653 vs ZTE Blade Qlux vs Lenovo A2010

YU Televentures, a Subsidiary of Micromax announced the YU Yunique affordable LTE-enabled smartphone last week in India for Rs 4999. The entry-level device is however not short of competition, it has the Phicomm Energy 653, ZTE Blade Qlux and the Lenovo A2010 to settle scores with.

Based on comparisons, we will be pitching all four devices against one another in terms of the Key specs and pricing.  

Detailed Comparison: YU Yunique vs Phicomm Energy 653 vs ZTE Blade Qlux vs Lenovo A2010

DISPLAY: The YU Yunique sports a 4.7-inch display size while the Phicomm Energy 653 has a 5-inch size, the ZTE Blade Qlux and Lenovo A2010 come short with a 4.5-inch display size. 

The Yunique and Energy 653 has a (1280 x 720 pixels) HD resolution display while the Blade Qlux and A2010 have a (854 x 480 pixels) FWVGA resolution display. 

PROCESSOR: In terms of the processing power (descending), the Yunique has a 1.2GHz quad-core 64-bit Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 processor; the A2010 follows with a 1.0GHz 64-bit quad-core Mediatek MT6735 processor; followed by the Energy 653 with a 1.1GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 210 processor and the Blade Qlux dons a 1.3GHz Mediatek MT6732M processor. 

MEMORY and STORAGE: All four smartphones come with the same RAM at 1GB and uses a native storage of 8GB with a microSD card slot available for adding extra storage. 

CAMERA: The ZTE Blade Qlux comes on top with a 8MP/5MP camera combination; the Phicomm Energy 653 and YU Yunique comes next with a 8MP/2MP cameras while the Lenovo A2010 has 5MP/2MP cameras. 

BATTERY: The Phicomm Energy 653 has the biggest battery capacity with a 2320mAh battery, the Blade Qlux follows with a 2200mAh battery and the other two use a 2000mAah battery. 

CONNECTIVITY: All four smartphones support the standard connectivity options including Bluetooth, Wi-Fi and GPS; they come with Dual SIM slots and also have 4G LTE connectivity. 

OPERATING SYSTEM (OS): With the exception of the ZTE Blade Qlux running Android 4.4 Kitkat OS, all other three smartphones run Android 5.1 Lollipop OS. 

PRICING: The Lenovo A2010 currently holds the crown for the cheapest 4G LTE smartphone in India at Rs 4990. The other three are evenly priced minutely higher at Rs 4999. 

VERDICT

: All four smartphones have their strong points and depending on user’s choice of choosing a smartphone, there would always be differing choices. Which of the devices makes the cut for you? Is it the Yu Yunique, the Phicomm Energy 653, the ZTE Blade Qlux or the Lenovo A2010?
