Some weeks ago, Chinese brand, Zopo Mobile announced the Zopo Speed 7 and the Zopo Speed 7 Plus. The beauty of these device is that they provide flagship specs for super affordable prices. The Speed 7 initially costs $199.99, the Speed 7 Plus costs $229.99; both devices are currently on pre-order.
The Zopo Speed 7 and Zopo Speed 7 Plus are both powered by an octa-core MediaTek MT6753 64-bit processor clocked at 1.5GHz, 3GB of RAM and 16GB internal storage space. There is a microSD card slot for storage expansion (up to 64GB). On the rear, there is a 13MP camera and a front facing 5MP camera for selfies.
Connectivity options on thePlus includes – 4G LTE, Bluetooth, Dual SIM and Wi-Fi. Both devices run Android 5.0 Lollipop OS out-of-the-box and are compatible with the following network bands – 2G: GSM 850/900/1800/1900 MHz; 3G: WCDMA 900/1900/2100 MHz and 4G:FDD-LTE 800/1800/2600MHz.
The differences between the Zopo Speed 7 and the Zopo Speed 7 Plus comes in the aspect of display size and battery capacity. The smartphone sized Speed 7 has a 5-inch (1920 x 1080 pixels) FHD display and is backed by a 2500mAh battery while the phablet sized Zopo Speed 7 Plus has a 5.5-inch FHD display and is backed by a 3000mAh battery.
