At the ongoing MWC 2016, Zopo Mobiles announced the ZOPO Speed 8 – the first smartphone announced to be powered by the Deca-core (10-core) Mediatek Helio X20 processor. It will go on sale from April 21, priced at $299.99 and will arrive in Black and Silver colours.
Running Android 6.0 Marshmallow OS, the ZOPO Speed 8 has a brushed metal finish body, measures 152.5 x 76.35 x 9.8mm in dimensions, weighs 136 grams in size, sports a 5.5-inch (1920 x 1080 pixels) Full HD IPS display and is backed by a non-removable 3600mAh battery with fast charging.
Under the hood, it relies on the Deca-Core MediaTek Helio X20 processor with Mali T880 GPU, 4GB of RAM and 32GB built-in storage space. Connectivity options on the device includes – 4G LTE (FDD-LTE + TDD-LTE) Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, GPS, Bluetooth 4.1, GPS, NFC and USB OTG.
For photography, the rear facing camera is a 21MP snapper with dual LED Flash, Phase Detection AutoFocus (PDAF), f/2.2 aperture, Sony IMX230 sensor and 6P lenses. The front selfie camera on the Speed 8 is a 8MP snapper with f/2.0 aperture, OV8856 sensor and LED flash.
The ZOPO Speed 8 has Dual SIM slots and is equipped with a fingerprint sensor for enhanced security while charging has to be done using the USB Type-C Port.
