Zopo announced its first ever smartwatch – the Zopo Z-Watch along with the Zopo Speed 7 and Zopo Speed 7 Plus smartphones. The smartwatch has a circular display like the Motorola Moto 360 and is compatible with Android (Android 4.3 and higher) and iOS (iOS 7 and higher) OS based devices.
The Zopo Z-Watch features a 1.22-inch (240 x 204 pixels) IPS Wide Viewing Angle LCD touchscreen display, has a stainless steel body build, is powered by a MediaTek MT2502 processor paired with 128MB ROM and 32MB RAM. It is backed by a battery capacity of 320mAh with no word on how much time it manages to stay on.
The Z-Watch has an integrated mic, two buttons – Power and Home Key, makes uses of a magnet pogo pin to charge up, measures 255 x 42.5 x 12.5mm in dimensions, weighs 56 grams and Bluetooth connectivity to connect to smartphones.
Asides working like a traditional watch, the Zopo Z-Watch also has sleep and heart rate monitoring abilities, pedometer for counting steps and keeping track of movement, checking text messages, wake up gesture, bluetooth music playing and can be used to receive mobile phone calls.
At the moment there is no word on pricing for the Zopo Z-Watch. It will be available in Jazzy Black, Gold and Silver colour options.
