At the Mobile World Congress last month, ZTE unveiled its first flagship 5G smartphone – the ZTE Axon 10 Pro 5G and a budget-friendly Blade series – the ZTE Blade V10. The former will go on sale in the first half of 2019 through global carriers in China and Europe while the latter will go on sale in China, and Europe in March 2019 and Latin America starting April 2019.
ZTE Axon 10 Pro 5G
The Axon 10 Pro 5G is based on the Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 7nm mobile platform paired with Snapdragon X50 modem for 5G connectivity and Artificial Intelligence (AI) engine that takes charge of the CPU, GPU, RAM and ROM. It sports a 6.47-inch Full HD+ AMOLED display with a teardrop notch, an in-display fingerprint sensor and a 4,000mAh battery with fast wired and wireless charging.
It has a 20MP selfie camera and a triple rear camera setup which includes a primary 48MP (f/1.8) sensor with OIS and PDAF; 20MP ultra wide-angle sensor and 8MP telephoto sensor. It packs 6GB of RAM, 128GB built-in storage (expandable up to 512GB via microSD), USB Type-C port, NFC, Bluetooth 5.0 and comes pre-loaded with Android 9.0 Pie.
ZTE Blade V10 and Blade V10 Vita
The Blade V10 is the successor to last year’s ZTE Blade V9 and like the Axon 10 Pro 5G, it also comes pre-loaded with MiFavor9.0 UI (based on Android 9 Pie). It sports a 6.3-inch Full HD+ 19:9 2.5D curved glass display with teardrop notch, 2.1GHz Octa-Core processor, rear fingerprint sensor, 16MP (f/1.8) + 5MP (f/2.4) dual rear cameras, 32MP AI smart selfie camera, NFC and a 3,100mAh battery.
The ZTE Blade V10 is available in 3GB + 32GB and 4GB + 64GB RAM and storage configurations. The brand also launched the Blade V10 Vita with HD+ screen resolution, an octa-core Spreadtrum 9863A processor and also run Android 9 Pie.
