ZTE has quietly unveiled its most anticipated smartphone yet – the ZTE Axon 10s Pro 5G. It is based on the Snapdragon 865 5G mobile platform which according to Qualcomm uses the Snapdragon X55 5G Modem-RF System to “achieves staggering multi-gigabit speeds (up to 7.5 Gbps) and supports all key regions and frequency bands from 5G mmWave and sub-6, TDD and FDD, to SA and NSA modes”.
The ZTE Axon 10s Pro 5G has a large 6.47-inch FHD+ AMOLED display with in-display fingerprint sensor and waterdrop notch which houses the 20MP (f/2.0) selfie camera. The main camera includes two vertically aligned modules: the first module consist of the primary 48MP (f/1.7) lens and 8MP (f/2.4) telephoto lens while the second includes the 20MP (f/2.2) wide-angle lens with 125-degree field of view and dual-LED flash.
Combining a metal body frame with 3D Gorilla Glass on both the front and back, the device comes pre-loaded MiFavor 10 (based on Android 10) as well as the Z-Booster 2.0 AI which consists of the App-Booster, System-Booster (RAM-booster, FS- Booster and Power-Booster) and Linker Booster. It features Wi-Fi 6 technology, supports multiple networks and is available in two RAM + Storage (UFS 3.0) combos: 6GB + 128GB and 12GB + 256GB.
The Axon 10s Pro 5G is expected to be available towards the second half of the year (H2 2020) and the company will release more 5G smartphones worldwide.
