ZTE has launched yet another variant of the Axon 7, a bigger screen option this time in its home soil – China. The ZTE Axon 7 Max continues the trend of the Dual Rear camera setup from the Axon and Axon Pro, but skips the quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 processor for a mid-tier option – the octa-core Snapdragon 625 clocked at 2.0GHz.
Running Android 6.0 Marshmallow with the company’s skin – MiFavor 4.0 UI on top, the ZTE Axon 7 Max features a 6-inch (1920 x 1080 pixels) Full HD display with an added 3D viewing feature and a 4100mAh battery with Qualcomm Quick Charge 2.0 provides the much needed energy juice.
The device packs 4GB of RAM, 64GB built-in storage space and a front facing 8MP camera for selfies and video chats. As stated earlier, the main camera(s) is a combination of rear facing 13MP cameras with Laser AutoFocus and Dual Tone LED flash. The circular fingerprint scanner sits below the main camera on the rear.
Now on pre-order, the ZTE Axon 7 Max supports 4G networks and comes equipped with dual Hi-Fi AK4962 audio chips, USB Type-C port. It is priced at CNY 2999 (USD 442) and will be on sale starting November 2. The company is also offering CNY 360 (USD 53) worth of free 3D content.
