As more 6GB RAM smartphones are gracing markets around the world (especially China), ZTE has announced the release of the ZTE Axon 7 Premium in the US. Priced at $450, this model is the premium version of the flagship-level Axon 7 which was released in China, Europe and the US.
Pre-installed with Android 6.0 Marshmallow OS with MiFavour 4.0 UI on-top, the ZTE Axon 7 packs a 5.5-inch (2560 x 1440 pixels) QHD AMOLED 2.5D Curved Glass display with force touch capabilities, 6GB of RAM and 128GB built-in storage space (expandable up to 128GB via microSD).
Under the hood, the device relies on the Quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 processor and a 3250mAh battery with Quick Charge 3.0, provides the required power. For photography, there is a rear facing 20MP camera with Dual LED flash, OIS, PDAF and f/1.28 aperture alongside a front facing 8MP camera with f/2.2 aperture for selfies and video chats.
The ZTE Axon 7 Premium measures 151.7 x 75 x 7.9 mm in dimensions, weighs in at 185 grams and supports 4G LTE networks. It is also equipped with USB Type-C port, Fingerprint sensor, AKM’s Premium Audio DAC AK4490 + Advanced Audio DSP Codec AK4961 and Stereo speakers.
