Despite its ongoing tussle with the US government, ZTE has launched the Blade 20 Pro 5G smartphone. It is based on the Qualcomm Snapdragon 765G (1x Cortex-A76 core @ 2.4GHz, 1x Cortex-A76 core @ 2.2GHz & 6x Cortex-A55 cores @ 1.8GHz) mobile platform with a heatsink for thermal management, and an integrated modem to offer 5G connectivity (mmWave and Sub-6).
The ZTE Blade 20 Pro 5G has a 6.47-inch (2340 x 1080 pixels) Full HD+ 3D Curved AMOLED display with 19.5:9 aspect ratio, waterdrop notch and in-display fingerprint scanner. The 7.9mm thin device sports a dual glass body, packs 8GB of RAM + 128GB built-in storage, microSD card slot (supports up to 2TB cards), USB Type-C port, Hi-Fi audio (DTS:X Ultra) and comes pre-loaded with ZTE’s MiFavor 10 UI (based on Android 10 OS).
Power is supplied by a 4,000mAh battery with 18W fast charging (Quick Charge 4+). Photography is handled by a quad-rear camera setup with a 64MP primary lens paired with an 8MP (f/2.2, 120o FOV) ultra-wide-angle lens, 2MP (4cm) macro lens and 2MP depth lens. The front waterdrop notch holds the 20MP selfie camera while connectivity includes NFC, Bluetooth 5.1, and Wi-Fi 802.11a/b/g/n/ac. Pricing starts at CNY 2,798 for the only model in China.
