A new low-end ZTE smartphone – the ZTE Blade D2 T602 has now gone on sale in Thailand and is already available in Vietnam. The 5-inch LTE smartphone with high capacity battery has a price tag equivalent to US$ 103. Black and White are the available colour options.
The 4000mAh Li-ion battery on the ZTE Blade D2 is arguably the main highlight. The juice is enough to last some days of battery life on a single charge depending on usage and there is also support for reverse charging which sees it serve as a medium for charging other mobile devices via USB OTG.
The Dual SIM enabled device sports a 5-inch IPS LCD display with 1280 x 720 pixels (HD) screen resolution and relies on a quad-core Mediatek MT6735P 64-bit processor clocked at 1.0GHz with Mali-T720 GPU, 1GB RAM and 8GB built-in expandable storage space.
For additional storage space, there is a microSD card slot for storage expansion up to 64GB. Running the now dated Android 5.1 Lollipop OS out-of-the-box , the Blade D2 supports 2G, 3G and 4G LTE networks as well as Bluetooth 4.0, micro USB 2.0, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n and GPS/A-GPS.
In the camera segment, the ZTE Blade D2 has a front facing 5-megapixels camera for selfies and a rear facing 8-megapixel AutoFocus camera with LED flash and Full HD video recording support. The device measures 144 x 69.5 x 8mm in dimensions and weighs in at 155 grams.
