ZTE has announced the global launch and availability of the ZTE Blade S6 Plus smartphone. The device would be available exclusively from eBay and depending on the location is priced at $299.99 which is equivalent to £199.99 for the UK and £276.99 for the whole of Europe.
The listed countries are – Austria, Belarus, Belgium, Brazil, Bulgaria, Czech Republic, Croatia, Denmark, France, Finland, Germany, Greece, Holland, Hungary, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Moldova, Norway, Portugal, Poland, Romania, Russia, Spain, Slovakia, Sweden, United Kingdom and Ukraine.
Commenting on the launch – Adam Zeng, CEO of ZTE Mobile Devices, said,
“We are very excited to announce with eBay the global availability of the ZTE Blade S6 Plus. Following the successful launch of the Blade S6, we are now offering our consumers a larger-screen alternative to a device that combines high-end performance and quality at a very competitive price tag.”
The ZTE Blade S6 Plus could be said to be a bigger version of the ZTE Blade S6 but has the same design language as the Blade S6 Lux and Blade S6.
It sports a 5.5-inch (1280 X 720 pixels) HD JDI display with in-cell technology. It is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm snapdragon 615 processor with 2GB of RAM and 16GB space of internal storage. There is a microSD card storage on-board for storage expansion.
The main camera is a 13MP AutoFocus camera with Sony IMX214 sensor and LED flash; there is a front facing 5MP camera for selfies also on-board. It packs a 3000mAh battery, supports Dual SIM functionality, 4G LTE, and runs on Android 5.0.2 Lollipop Os with the company’s MiFavour 3.0 UI ontop.
