ZTE has announced a new smartphone in the Blade Series of devices – ZTE Blade S7; the device is currently is listed on Geekbuying for a price tag of $277.99 in Light Green colour options. The 5-inch sized smartphone succeeds the ZTE Blade S6 which was released around January this year.
Moving to the specs, the ZTE Blade S7 sports a 5-inch (1920 x 1080 pixels) FHD IPS capacitive display (pixel density – 445 ppi) measures 142 x 67 x 7.2 mm in dimensions and weighs 131 grams. It is backed by a built-in 2500mAh Lithium battery which is expected to last up to 2 or 3 days of mixed usage.
Under the hood, the Blade S7 is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 MSM8939 processor clocked 1.5GHz paired with 3GB of RAM and 32GB space of internal storage. The device has a front and rear facing 13MP cameras, with the one on the rear having a LED flash.
Connectivity options on the device includes – Bluetooth 4.0, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, GPS/A-GPS, microUSB 2.0 and supports 2G GSM/3G UMTS/4G LTE networks. The ZTE Blade S7 has Dual SIM (Nano + Micro) slots with Dual Standby, a microSD card slot for storage expansion up to 64GB and runs Android 5.1 Lollipop OS out-of-the-box.
