ZTE Mobiles launched a new 5G Blade smartphone – the ZTE Blade V2020 5G. The device is available in a single memory and storage configuration (6GB RAM + 128GB storage), and based on the 5G ready MediaTek Dimensity 800 (MT6873) 7nm octa-core processor with four Cortex-A76 cores clocked at 2.0GHz and four Cortex-A55 cores clocked up to 2.0GHz. The SoC is paired with four cores of the ARM Mali- G57 MC4 GPU, which combines with the MediaTek HyperEngine 2.0 for the ultimate gaming experience.
Priced starting at CNY 1,399, the ZTE Blade V2020 5G has a JDI-produced 6.53-inch FHD+ IPS display with 97% NTSC color gamut, 19.5:9 aspect ratio and 90.8% screen-to-body ratio. The phone has a rear fingerprint sensor, gradient back design with rainbow like colours, microSD card support (up to 512GB cards), and 16MP (f/2.0) selfie camera in the top-left punch-hole notch with 3.56mm diameter notch.
Photography is handled by a quad rear camera setup with primary 48MP (f/1.79, 6-element lens) snapper with 8MP (f/2.2, 120º FOV) ultra-wide, 2MP (f/2.4) macro lens and 2MP (f/2.4) depth sensors. The Blade V2020 5G comes pre-loaded with MiFavor 10.1 (based on Android 10 OS) and power is supplied by a 4,000mAh battery with 18W fast charging. The rest of the specs include: Bluetooth 5.0, dual mode 5G (SA/NSA), Wi-Fi 802.11ac, 3.5mm audio jack, USB-C port, and DTS:X Ultra support.
