ZTE’s latest budget smartphone – the ZTE Blade V2021 5G has gone on sale in China. The budget device is based on the MediaTek Dimensity 720 (2x ARM Cortex-A76 @ up to 2GHz + 6x ARM Cortex-A55 @ up to 2GHz) octa-core 7nm processor to offer 5G (SA/NSA) connectivity and comes in Blue, Pink, Silver and Space Gray colours. Pricing starts at CNY 999 for the 4GB RAM + 64GB storage model and CNY 1,399 for the 6GB RAM + 128GB storage model.
The ZTE Blade V2021 5G packs a 6.52-inch (1600 x 720 pixels) HD+ LCD display with 20:9 aspect ratio and 60Hz refresh rate, rear fingerprint sensor, microSD card slot (supports up to 512GB cards), 8MP selfie camera and triple camera system headed by a primary 48MP (f/1.79) camera. The main sensor is paired with an 8MP (f/2.2, 120° FoV) ultra-wide-angle lens and 2MP (f/2.4) macro lens, accompanied by a dual-colour dual LED flash.
In terms of ports and connectivity, the phone has USB Type-C port, Bluetooth 5.1, 3.5mm audio jack, dual 4G VoLTE, and Wi-Fi 802.11 ac. It comes pre-loaded with MiFavor 10 UI (based on Android 10) and depends on a 4,000mAh battery. The ZTE Blade V2021 5G has a polycarbonate build, measures 165.9 x 75.8 x 8.9 mm and weighs 188 grams.
