ZTE has quietly released another new Android Lollipop OS device the ZTE Blade V580 into the Japanese market. The affordable 4G LTE phablet is available for a price tag of JPY 27,800 (US$ 246) in Black and White colour options. Pre-orders are underway and deliveries start March 15th.
Rocking a full metal body build, the ZTE Blade V580 sports a 5.5-inch (1920 x 1080 pixels) Full HD IPS display with a pixel density of 401ppi and Corning Gorilla Glass layer protection ontop. It measures 155.3 x 77.2 x 8.6 mm in dimensions, weighs in at 165 grams and is backed by a 3000mAh battery.
Under the hood, it is powered by an octa-core Mediatek MT6753 64-bit processor clocked at 1.3GHz with 2GB of RAM, 16GB built-in storage space and runs Android 5.1 Lollipop OS with the company’s UI ontop. For additional storage space, there is a microSD card slot for expansion up to 32GB.
The ZTE Blade V580 has Dual SIM slots, supports 2G, 3G and 4G LTE networks as well as Bluetooth 4.1, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, GPS/A-GPS and Micro-USB 2.0 connectivity options. On the rear, there is a front facing 5-megapixel camera with wide angle lens; a rear facing 13-megapixel AutoFocus camera with LED flash, 1080p Full HD video recording and the fingerprint scanner sits below the main camera.
