ZTE has announced a new mid-range Blade series 5G smartphone for the US market. The ZTE Blade X1 5G, as it is known, is based on the Qualcomm Snapdragon 765G (1 x Cortex-A76 core @2.4GHz + 1 x Cortex-A76 core @2.2GHz + 6 x Cortex-A55 cores @1.8GHz) EUV 7nm mobile platform for 5G SA/NSA connectivity and depends on a 4,000mAh battery with Quick Charge 3.0 fast charging.

The smartphone has a 6.5-inch Full HD+ LCD display with 19.5:9 aspect ratio, rear-mounted fingerprint scanner, microSD card slot (expandable up to 2TB via), 3.5mm audio jack, USB Type-C port, NFC and DTS:X Ultra audio. Photography is handled by a quad AI rear camera setup which includes a 48MP primary, 8MP (f/2.2, 120° FOV) ultra-wide, 2MP (f/2.4) macro and 2MP (f/2.4) depth-sensing sensors.
The ZTE Blade X1 5G has a 16MP selfie camera in the top-left corner and arrive in a single memory configuration: 6GB RAM + 128GB built-in storage. It is available one-off for US$ 384 or on contract at $16 per month for 24 months from Verzon-owned Visible Mobile and Yahoo Mobile. As part of the offer, anyone who ports their number to Visible will get a free $150 prepaid Mastercard virtual account and Amazon Fire TV stick.
