Last week, ZTE made splash in Russia by launching the ZTE Axon Mini and four other smartphones in the steadily increasing Blade series of devices from the company – the ZTE Blade X3, Blade X5, Blade X7 and Blade X9.
The ZTE Axon Mini is already known as the not-so mini variant of the flagship ZTE Axon, it sports a 5.2-inch FHD Super AMOLED display, powered by an Octa-core Snapdragon 615 processor with 3GB RAM, 32GB built-in storage and runs Android 5.1 Lollipop OS. It costs RUB 29990 (USD 474).
ZTE Blade X3 and Blade X5
The ZTE Blade X3 and ZTE Blade X5 sports a 5-inch HD display along with 1GB RAM, 8GB built-in storage space, Dual SIM support, boots Android 5.1 Lollipop OS, Dual SIM slots and 4G LTE support. The former costs RUB 8990 (USD 139) and the latter costs RUB 10990 (USD 170).
The Blade X3 has a 8MP/5MP camera combination for both the rear and front cameras and is powered by a Mediatek MT6735 processor clocked at 1.0GHz. The device is backed by a 4000mAh battery and serves as a power bank for charging other devices using the USB OTG cable.
The Blade X5 on its path has a 8MP front camera for selfies, a rear facing 13MP camera, powered by a Mediatek MT6735 processor clocked at 1.3GHz and is backed by a 2400mAh battery. The round shape button below the main camera is not a fingerprint scanner but rather is a dedicated camera button.
ZTE Blade X7 (or ZTE Blade Z7)
The ZTE Blade X7 (or ZTE Blade Z7 as some sources call it) is a camera centric phone with a main 16MP main camera with Dual LED flash and a front facing 8MP camera for selfies. It is powered by a quad-core Mediatek MT6735 processor clocked at 1.3GHz with 2GB RAM and 16GB storage space.
The Blade X7 runs Android 5.1 Lollipop OS, has Dual SIM slots, supports 4G LTE, measures 142.5 x 69.5 x 6.8 mm in dimensions and is backed by a 2200mAh battery. It costs RUB 14990 (USD 232).
ZTE Blade X9
The ZTE Blade X9 sports a 5.5-inch (1920 x 1080 pixels) Full HD IPS display and a near bezel-less design. It is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 MSM8939 processor clocked at 1.5GHz with Adreno 405 GPU, 2GB of RAM and 16GB built-in storage space and runs Android 5.1 Lollipop OS.
The Dual SIM Blade X9 has a 13MP main camera, 5MP front camera, supports 4G LTE, backed by a well to do 3000mAh battery and the fingerprint scanner is located below the main camera on the back. It costs RUB 17990 (USD 278).
