Sometime last week, ZTE released a brand new slate in Canada called the ZTE Grand X View 2. The new offering, positioned as the follow-up to the ZTE Grand X View released back in the fall of 2015 via Bell and Virgin, has entry-level specs compared to the mid-range level found on of its predecessor.
Pre-installed with Android 7.1.1 Nougat OS, the ZTE Grand X View 2 has a 8-inch (1280 x 800 pixels) HD display, 8GB built-in storage space, 1GB RAM and relies on a quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 210 (MSM8909) processor clocked at 1.3GHz with Adreno 304 GPU. For additional storage, there is a microSD card slot which supports up to 128GB cards.
Photography is handled by a rear facing 5MP camera (720p video capture) and front facing 2MP camera while power is provided by a 4,620mAh battery. Although not confirmed yet, the Grand X View 2 also supports 4G LTE (B2 /4 /5 /7 /12/ 25) connectivity. For those interested in coping this slate, Bell is offering it for CA$179.99 (US$ 140).
