ZTE-made Ferrari 4G Mi-Fi costs SAR 399

The past few weeks or months has been Chinese company, ZTE and Italian car manufacturer, Ferarri, selling a pocket-sized 4G mobile Wi-Fi router in Saudi Arabia. The ZTE Ferrari 4G Mi-Fi ‎supports five LTE bands – B1/B7/B8/B20/B28; ‎and also tri band UMTS (3G UMTS and 2G GPRS/GSM networks).

It is based on the ZTE MF910 4G LTE mobile router and has been branded to reflect the well known Ferrari brand (the red colour and logo). It connects around 10 – 15 Wi-Fi enabled devices to 4G networks and offers a maximum download speed up to 150Mbps/50Mbps upload speed (LTE Cat.4). ‎

The ZTE Ferrari 4G Mi-Fi sports a 1.44-inch TFT LCD display with 128 x 128 pixels screen resolution and is equipped with the Qualcomm MDM9225 processor. It packs a single SIM slot, a micro USB port for charging, weighs 105 grams and measures 104 x 64.5 x 14.6 mm in dimensions.

Backed by a built-in 2500mAh battery, the ZTE Ferrari 4G Mi-Fi is expected to deliver 8 hours of working time and has Dual Band Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n but no Bluetooth. The RRP set is SAR 499 (USD 133) but different outlets including souqs are selling for SAR 399 (USD 106). ‎
